What good is the education of your dreams if you're lacking a network of people to share your thoughts and good mood with? At Bikuben we value social life above all else. We are a small community, but despite the size there is a core of spirited people working hard to make living here as pleasurable as can be.

The resident council is the supreme body of Bikuben Kollegiet (only surpassed by the general assembly). The council takes care of issues and suggestions from residents and assist in solving all internal situations that may arise.

They maintain the lounge on the 5th floor as well as the Blue Bar. Areas of responsibility include daily activity of the bar as well as improvement of bar and lounge facilities. This committee exists to make it as easy as possible to have parties and other events in the lounge.

Who would have guessed that one of the more obscure committees at Bikuben would end up being the most popular? Yes, the baker league draws many residents with their brilliant buns and magnificent muffins during cake nights. While the goodies are gobbled up, we play games and listen to music.

The party committee doesn't just arange parties, but all kinds of events to bring life to Bikuben. At the same time they are enforcers of the proud Bikuben party tradition where nudity is a common occurance. The key issue for this committee is naturally more parties for all residents.

The nerds at Bikuben attend to all matters pertaining to the local network. They also maintain the offical web site (yes the one you're visting right now) as well as the intranet.

This committee has the job of maintaing our great gym by acquiring new equipment and attending to daily operation and the relevant issues that may arise.

At Bikuben there is a desire to take a more responsible environmental course. The spearhead of this development is the environment committee which deals with recycling, minimizing electricity use as well as water and heating use.
